What is OT?
How can we help?
Occupational Therapists support children who may have a disability or developmental delay or children that need extra support to develop the skills they need to participate in everyday activities and routines. We work with parent’s, educators and other key stakeholders to build their capacity to support children's participation in the activities they need to or want to do.
We focus on;
Activities that you as a parent or caregiver need your child to do.
Activities that your child wants to or is trying to do.
Activities that enhance your child’s learning and development.
Our goal is to enable participation in these activities and routines to enhance confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing for children and their families. We do this by developing tools and tailored strategies that support your child to build the skills they need to participate in the activities they need to do or want to do in they daily lives and routines.
